Going Green

I'm doing my share to help stop global warming. I've started reading some documents about global warming back in early 2007. Back in 2006 when my cousin first asked me if I seen the documentary An Inconvenient Truth, didn't bother looking into it seriously. Then I read a few forwarded emails and some from the internet. I'm doing it one step at a time.

At home...
- Late 2007, we've replaced our regular light bulb at home.
- Went home to Cebu to check on the trees planted in our land and now searching for other possible trees to plant. And got worried seeing this:

This side of our land in Cebu, cracked, on the other side it's rocky with corals. wondered if this effect caused by global warming

- I purchased a stainless steel bottle to minimize use of bottled water. We bring our Alkaline water to the office. =)

In the office
- we had a waste segregation awareness and soon we'll be implementing a continuous awareness for all the employees. Waste segregation for all departments will be implemented, I'm already starting to segregate recycled papers, used papers, bio and non-bio and hoping that through this I'm able to encourage my co-associates to do the same. Though they already see me conscious enough in turning the lights off and my PC monitor every time I go out of the office. =) And telling them to do the same.
I even posted on my board the 10thingstodo which I got from climatecrisis.

Everyday I look into the things we do, what i can recycle, reuse and reduce (RRR). Read, read and read to keep myself informed and hope that I could inspire others as well to do the same.
