Weekly Fest 17 is all about desserts =)
My fave dessert, halo-halo, it's just so hmmmm to me and my hubby. As PinoyReceipe defines halo-halo:
Is a representative of the various sweets Filipinos enjoy. Legumes, rootcrops and fruits are cooked in syrup until tender and sweet. Eggyolks and milk are made into leche flan. Ube is grated for haleya. Fresh ripe fruits are cubed, pinipig is toasted, buko is grated and if one has time - sorbets or ice cream can even be made. All these are put in a tall glass that is then filled with shaved ice. It is served with a long teaspoon and continually mixed as you eat (halo ng halo).
Even if it rains, I don't I'll ever say no to a halo-halo. =)
got the halo-halo recipe from PinoyRecipe.net

Ahhhhh i'm not a fan of halo-halo... ang kainin ko lang is the flan, ice cream, the banana, and of course, the ice and the milk... hehehe not much of a sago girl or a bean girl...hehehehe
